What is
Filelocater?
It's a web search site.
Is it a search engine?
Yes and no. Filelocater results originally from google index also
its own spider scans blogs and forums.
How does it works?
Filelocater takes your keywords and adds special optimized keywords
to your search phrase. The result is sent to google also searched in
own database that created by Filelocater spider and in user
submitted link. Its efficient.
What can I find using
Filelocater?
You can find any file that is hosted in the popular one-click file
hosting services, web servers and ftp servers etc.
So many searches,
which one should I use?
It depends on what you are looking for. The web search is the one
that returns more pages but it can lead you to very old pages with a
lot of broken links. The blog search and the groups search don't
target such a big universe as the web search but the pages are shown
by chronological order, being the newest ones on the top of the
result list.
What about the broken links?
Yes, they sure are annoying. If you are getting to many of these you
are probably using the web search, try the other searches, they show
the freshest results first to prevent that problem.
Is this legal?
Filelocater is 100% legal. We don't host any illegal content nor
practice any illegal activity. Despite that there is legal issue you
should be aware of: the 1-click file hosting services had been
widely used to store files which content is copyrighted or in other
ways illegal. If you know or suspect some file has this kind of
content do not download it as you might be breaking your country's
law.
